We need your help planting shrubs, flowers and milkweed to create pollination stations in Memorial Park - 15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land - Saturday, Nov. 9th from 8:30am - Noon.
A large area will be planted and your help would be appreciated!
Please plan to check in at 8:15 am at the Pavilion near the lake at Memorial Park, 15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land.
Please wear closed toe shoes or boots, gloves, long pants and comfortable clothes as you are volunteering outside and will get dirty. We will have water for all volunteers. Please be aware of wildlife in the park and the possible presence of poison ivy.
Please refrain using your cell phone while volunteering. Please safely store any valuables in your vehicle out of sight-do not leave items visible in your vehicle. We will not have a secure location to store any personal items.
You are expected to volunteer for the entire shift. Please make sure you have signed in and out with Parks Staff at the pavilion. Thank you very much for helping with this project for all residents to enjoy and learn from!
REMEMBER you must sign up to volunteer, you may not just show up to help.
